Full Time Property Host (Beverly Hills, Malibu, Hollywood)

Stay A While is seeking an experienced full-time host who has an eye for design, has fantastic people skills and is detail oriented to work alongside our team. Hosts are responsible for inspecting properties, managing vendors, communicating with guests, greeting guests upon arrival and reporting maintenance tasks.

Role Purpose and Responsibilities:

Everything we do is in the hands of our host. The host is responsible for following processes, communicating with the team, and making sure the guest has a wonderful experience. Having said that, no job is too big or too small for our hosts. At times, we turn tasks that might seem impossible, possible. Our team is forwarding thinking, driven, dedicated, and committed to making sure we continue to get the same great reviews. We like to say we work hard, however, we work smart. We use our processes and technology to help us along the way.

Communicate with guests via our PMS software system, Airbnb when appropriate, email, text, and phone.
Liaise between guests and the main office to fix any home repairs that arise during or after the stay within minutes of being notified.
Collect detailed information from customers and the field to formulate a resolution response to issues within service delivery and cost guidelines.
Following inspections processes on time and accurately. Inspections include but are not limited to check-out, check-in, and guest arrival.
Perform some small or unskilled maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs or air filters, changing batteries in remote controls, updating apple tv's or smart tv's, rolling trash canisters in/out from the street, delivering packages or supplies.
Work with your peers and management to drive organizational and process improvements throughout the business to prevent repeat issues from occurring.
Reply to all guests within minutes of their questions.
Arrange to fulfill any or all guest requests before or during their stay

Qualifications and Experience:

Must have Experience in hosting vacation house rentals. Airbnb experience helpful

Attention to detail:
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate difficult messages clearly and empathetically; fluency in written and spoken English is required.
An active listener who can think quickly and critically under pressure
Able to confidently solve complex problems, while maintaining customer satisfaction and controlling costs
Ability to calmly thrive under pressure, perform consistently and work with a sense of urgency
Superb organization skills in order to prioritize and manage a large volume of cases during peak periods, as well as work autonomously
Possess the ability to deliver luxury hospitality services to all of our guests
Must be a forward thinker who has the ability to see problems before they arise
Must be resourceful and willing to pitch in wherever needed
Must be a self-starter, and able to recognize need before a task is assigned
Must be comfortable working in multiple locations, across multiple properties any given day.
Must have a valid US Driver's License and reliable vehicle.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.50 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
