JOB DESCRIPTION
Claimatic is seeking an experienced and energetic Full-Stack Java Software Engineer who is a creative thinker that likes solving
problems through innovative technology solutions with 5 or more years of experience.
- As a Java Software Engineer, you will design & build software to introduce new functionality and expand
- existing functionality
- You will translate business requirements into technical specifications & design
- Research, evaluate, and implement suitable design patterns & technologies
- Suggest and make product improvements as per industry trends & standards
- Communicate effectively with technical & non-technical resources
- Help train and mentor other Software Engineers
- Handle several projects and tasks using a variety of technologies
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 5+ years of experience with:
- Modern Java Frameworks
- Designing enterprise APIs
- RESTful web services
- Microservices architecture
- OOP
OTHER MUST-HAVE EXPERIENCE INCLUDES:
- Experience with frontend development using Angular, HTML, and CSS (don’t worry, we have a framework)
- Experience implementing Java-based applications using Java 8+, Spring Boot, and REST Webservices.
- Experience working in our primary programming languages such as Java, Spring Boot, Angular 11+
- Familiarity with JPA, Maven/Gradle, and MySQL/Oracle
- Cloud-based technology (AWS)
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GitHub.
YOU’LL IMPRESS US IF YOU ALSO HAVE:
- Knowledge of cloud-native application development.
- Experience working within a SaaS business
- Experience in Docker, Kubernetes/EKS
- Experience working with PHP to help transition to JAVA
