SalaryResponsibilities:
- Order Processing: Receive, prioritize, and process incoming orders accurately and efficiently using designated software and equipment.
- Picking and Packing: Retrieve items from designated locations within the warehouse according to order specifications. Carefully pack items to prevent damage during transit, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by performing regular cycle counts and reporting any discrepancies to management. Help monitor inventory levels and alert supervisors when stock is low.
- Quality Control: Inspect items for damage or defects before packing and shipping. Ensure all products meet quality standards and report any issues to management.
- Shipping and Receiving: Prepare orders for shipment using appropriate packaging materials and methods. Generate shipping labels and documentation as needed. Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against packing slips, and distribute items to appropriate locations within the warehouse.
- Organization and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Communication: Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks, resolve issues, and meet deadlines. Communicate any concerns or suggestions for process improvement to management.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment center preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency with basic computer operations and familiarity with warehouse management software is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime as needed.
