RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work as a finance business partner to one or more business units by driving the budgeting, forecasting, and accountability processes and analyzing sales, finance, income, headcount trends, and other critical KPIs.
- Analyzes proposed plans, including distribution, products, programs, investments, and leases, to determine cost vs. benefit. Evaluates the effectiveness of the techniques by comparing benefit cases to actual results.
- Assists with developing strategic initiatives and action plans for driving sales and profit opportunities.
- Provides reporting and analysis for business results and key initiatives.
- Drives monthly/quarterly business reviews, highlighting key risks and areas for improvement.
- Assists business unit leaders in developing material for business reviews and Board of Directors meetings.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or similar business discipline with a minimum of 4+ years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- MBA or CFA preferred.
- Experience partnering cross-functionally.
- Ability to utilize financial data to diagnose business strengths and weaknesses and identify the implications for potential strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with solid analytical skills.
- A high degree of organizational skills.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Experience with Power BI, data visualization, DCF modeling, statistical analysis, break-even analysis, etc., desired
- Solid accounting, finance, and financial modeling knowledge.
- General business and international accounting regulations in various countries are a plus.
- Advanced MS Excel to build, track, and modify financial models.
- Able to review large amounts of information to ensure accuracy, summarize into high-level analysis, and communicate to upper management for decision-making.
- Able to work under pressure and with many different people.
