FP&A Analyst, Animal Nutrition - Quincy, IL
Responsibilities
The main duties of this role will require candidate to:
  • Maintain and further develop OBIEE dashboard
  • Enhance and further develop BI tools
  • Develop and deliver financial reporting and analysis reports
  • Track sales activities: turnover, volume, price, profitability and prepare monthly, weekly, daily and ad hoc reports
  • Review sales statistics for trends and investigate abnormalities
  • Review/Analyze gross margins/OP for customers/products
  • Support in creating business plans and forecasts
  • Support monthly financial close process with review/analysis
  • Calculate monthly variable compensation and quarterly bonus payouts
  • Establish and monitor commercial related KPIs
  • Collaborate with Commercials, Business development, Customer Service, Operations & Supply Chain, GBS
  • Support Animal Nutrition Finance and FP&A team members
The Candidate
The successful candidate will possess the following:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics or Business Administration
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
  • Language - English fluent
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (Excel data tables, pivots, lookups, Access, PowerPoint)
  • PowerBI/OBIEE knowledge is a plus
  • Focused on accuracy and attention to detail
  • High proficiency with multiple systems
  • Effective oral and written communication skills as well as ability to interface with various levels of office and operational contacts
  • Self-starter with ability to manage own workload to meet agreed deadlines,
  • Skilled in problem solving with a proactive and pragmatic approach
  • Positive, 'can do' hands on attitude
  • Able to work in a challenging environment with multiple, changing and competing priorities
  • Results and continuous improvement oriented; able to drive initiatives and lead changes
