The Expo is the key strategist and organizer of orders and prepared food before it exits the kitchen. The Expo works with the chef and back of house team to ensure that every dish is made correctly, looks great, appears fresh, and is made in a timely way. The Expo organizes tickets based on time and priority and ensures that all tickets are marked and orders are bumped to maintain a clear line and visual certification of communication between all departments.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring orders are organized, well put together, meet company plating and presentation guidelines and are prepared in a timely manner
- Detail oriented and thorough when checking orders for quality, accuracy, and presentation
- Communicating with both front of house and back of house teams to vocale needs from guests and ensure that all orders are executed to the highest standard.
- Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to each guest and team member
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with health and safety guidelines
- Proactive and anticipate the needs of coworkers around them that may need
- Ability to have extensive knowledge on the beverages we offer on the menu and the mastery of the food menu in order to properly garnish and send out
- Mechanical in execution uses organized steps of service to ensure order accuracy and consistency even in the busiest of times
- Ensuring that side stations are prepped as needed for business demand
Qualifications
- Exhibit strong multitasking abilities
- Posses a diligent work ethic
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance
- Display the ability to forecast and anticipate the needs of our guests and the restaurant
- Experience in a Full Service Restaurant preferred
- Available to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Must be able to stand for the duration of shifts and lift up to 35lbs
