Flooring Installer

We're seeking a skilled and experienced Flooring Installer to join our team. As a Flooring Installer, you will be responsible for installing various types of flooring materials in residential and commercial settings as well as performing various repairs. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and a high level of craftsmanship.

Duties to include but not limited to:

- Measure and cut flooring materials to fit specific areas

- Prepare subfloors by removing old flooring, repairing any damage, and ensuring a smooth surface

- Install flooring materials such as carpet, hardwood, laminate, vinyl, and tile

- Use appropriate tools and equipment to lay flooring materials accurately and securely

- Apply adhesives, nails, or staples to secure flooring materials in place

- Trim and finish edges of flooring materials for a clean and professional look

-Sand and refinish wood floors

-Cut and install baseboard/shoe molding when necessary

- Inspect completed work for quality assurance and make any necessary adjustments or repairs

-The ideal candidate will also have carpet installation and seeming experience

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Flooring Installer or similar role in the restoration industry

- Strong knowledge of different types of flooring materials and installation techniques

- Proficient in using tools and equipment specific to flooring installation, such as saws, drills, and sanders

- Ability to read schematics and follow installation instructions

- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues that may arise during installation

- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as required

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record or your own transportation for equipment and materials(van or truck)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
