About Techo Beso
- Year round outdoor Rooftop Bar atop San Diego’s newest Marriott Hotel
- Handcrafted cocktails and locally crafted brews, alongside creative small plates
- Private, catered events; serving parties from 10 to 100 guests
- Guests can enjoy our pool and rooftop views of San Diego’s Gaslamp District
- Latin inspired cuisine with unique and diverse agave spirit selections
Our Floor Manager will:
- Report to the Restaurant General Manager to create a successful operation of the rooftop
- Collaboratively lead a team of rooftop teammates
- Lead shifts in our stylish bar and outdoor rooftop
- Collaborate with the Hotel Management team to provide a seamless and unified guest experience
- Create and execute promotional events in partnership with Marketing, PR, and hotel managers
- Establish local business partnerships, collaborating with the Hotel Director of Sales as needed
- Additional responsibilities as required

Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years as an Assistant General Manager, Floor /Front of the House Manager, Service Manager, or Bar Manager in a full-service restaurant with bar, with $2M+ volume, Required
- Promotional experience, and experience servicing social catering events, Preferred
- Comfortable working in an emerging-growth company environment
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
- An impressive work-ethic
- Highly collaborative nature
- Must have a great personality, desire to serve guests, and enjoy working as part of a team
- Must be able to multi-task
- Up-beat, engaging, and professional

Techo Beso meaning rooftop kiss is inspired by the energy and culture of love found in South America. The main bar space gathers the guests into a communal atmosphere of party and excitement with the DJ elevated to connect this area to pool deck a few steps up. The pool connects the guests to the second terrace bar giving libations and service to the lounge area above. Designed as a separate world from the surrounding environment below Techo Beso sets the guests on a perch with magnificent views of San Diego while engrossing them in a world of their own. The fabrics and materials chosen add to the allure of the space both day and night. Techo Beso is a destination for both neighbors and travelers embracing them a rooftop kiss.
