Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and activities
- Provide support and guidance to children
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to develop and implement curriculum
- Assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies
- Support children in their social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Help with daily routines such as mealtime, naptime, and toileting, diapering
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
Skills:
- Experience working with children, preferably in an early childhood education
- Knowledge of toddler care and developmentally appropriate practices
- Familiarity with curriculum development and lesson planning
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of teachers and support staff
- Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with children with diverse needs
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
