Fleet Assistant Manager
POWER Engineers is seeking a Fleet Assistant Manager to work in our Boise, Idaho office and support efforts in Fleet Departments.
This is a hybrid work environment with the preferred location to be local to the Boise area. This role is available to qualified candidates to work remotely anywhere within the US.
Roles & Responsibilities- Process company vehicle requirements and assist with forecasting vehicle needs.
- Process vehicle requisitions.
- Process vehicle Registrations & titles / Toll Tags/decals.
- Manage supplier relationships.
- Work with the Fleet team to ensure correct quantities and types of vehicles are available at the right location and time.
- Utilizes POWER's software to enter and maintain employee driver risk information.
- Assists in gathering fleet data, measuring, and reporting.
- Provide On-Time Preventative Maintenance Rate
- Analyze data to increase business operation efficiency.
- Assists in tracking and maintaining data for POWER's Non-CDL DOT program.
- Maintains POWER's Certificates of Insurance within the Insurance folders and the POWER document management software.
- Evaluate driver accidents and safety policies.
- Develop strong working relationships across the POWER organization.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 5+ years in fleet operations or equivalent business experience.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/priorities.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
- Very proficient with Microsoft Office Products.
- Ability to quickly learn new systems, processes, and procedures.
- Ability to work in a Team and independently with minimum supervision.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
