Fleet Assistant Manager

POWER Engineers is seeking a Fleet Assistant Manager to work in our Boise, Idaho office and support efforts in Fleet Departments.

This is a hybrid work environment with the preferred location to be local to the Boise area. This role is available to qualified candidates to work remotely anywhere within the US.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Process company vehicle requirements and assist with forecasting vehicle needs.
  • Process vehicle requisitions.
  • Process vehicle Registrations & titles / Toll Tags/decals.
  • Manage supplier relationships.
  • Work with the Fleet team to ensure correct quantities and types of vehicles are available at the right location and time.
  • Utilizes POWER's software to enter and maintain employee driver risk information.
  • Assists in gathering fleet data, measuring, and reporting.
  • Provide On-Time Preventative Maintenance Rate
  • Analyze data to increase business operation efficiency.
  • Assists in tracking and maintaining data for POWER's Non-CDL DOT program.
  • Maintains POWER's Certificates of Insurance within the Insurance folders and the POWER document management software.
  •  Evaluate driver accidents and safety policies.
  • Develop strong working relationships across the POWER organization.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Desired Experience
  • 5+ years in fleet operations or equivalent business experience.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/priorities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • Very proficient with Microsoft Office Products.
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Ability to work in a Team and independently with minimum supervision.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
