ABOUT THE ROLE

As a member of our testing team, this role is crucial to maintaining the highest standards of safety and reliability in our Smart Gun. As a meticulous professional, you will be responsible for methodically evaluating the performance of firearms, adhering to strict safety protocols, and documenting results with precision. Your attention to detail, technical proficiency, and commitment to upholding ethical and legal standards will contribute to our ongoing dedication to excellence in firearm testing. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Day to day responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Conduct Firearm Tests: Perform daily tests of our SmartGun, including evaluating accuracy, functionality, and reliability, ensuring compliance with safety standards and protocols;
  • Documentation and Reporting: Thoroughly document testing procedures, results, and any issues encountered, maintaining accurate records for analysis, traceability, and reporting to relevant stakeholders;
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to strict safety protocols during all testing activities, including proper handling, storage, and disposal of firearms and ammunition, to ensure a secure testing environment;
  • Troubleshooting: Address and troubleshoot any issues or malfunctions identified during testing, applying problem-solving skills to determine root causes and proposing effective solutions to maintain testing integrity;
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with team members, engineers, and other stakeholders, communicating findings, progress, and any concerns to ensure a cohesive and informed approach to firearm testing.

This is a full-time, salaried role on-site role. The compensation range for this role is $60K - $80K.

LOCATION AND HOURS

Our dog-friendly, state-of-the-art headquarters is located in beautiful Broomfield, Colorado, between Boulder and Denver. Most roles require team members to frequently collaborate in person, but you will enjoy the flexibility to work from home when you need to. We trust you to communicate with your team to make things work.
