WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a Finance Transformation Director who will drive continuous process improvement and create future ways of working across Financial Planning & Analysis. This Finance Leader is passionate about connecting the dots across multiple business functions, enjoys solving complex problems, and is self-motivated in identifying new ways to drive value.
WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON
You will work closely with executive and functional leadership to enhance the accuracy and insights of the Monthly Rolling Financial Forecast, Annual Operating Plans, and Long-Range Financial Plans. Key to this achievement will be your capacity to identify opportunities, problem solve and collaborate closely with teammates to build end-to-end financial processes with close partnership with our EPM (Anaplan) Center of Excellence team.
- Help to drive forward the vision of future state FP&A processes
- Actively identify areas of opportunity to drive process improvement across FP&A activities
- Define, measure, and optimize end-to-end processes, creating a holistic view for continuous improvement
- Establish process governance that ensures we maintain alignment and clarity within the function and with our key partners
- Ensure the effective use, adoption, and value realization of Strategic Enterprise Capabilities (SEC), EPM, o9, and Workday to build a culture driven by data and analytics
- Makes or influences decisions related to strategy and design
- Identify and eliminate manual tasks challenged by immature processes and lack of technology at scale
- Work cross-functionally with DSM, MPO, and other teams to ensure cross-functional integration across end-to-end planning to support FP&A activities
WHO YOU WILL BE WORKING WITH
Based out of Nike's World Headquarters, the Finance Transformation Director will report directly to the Global Process Owner, Plan to Report. You will partner with a broad range of stakeholders, from Global Finance Leadership to Investor Relations, External Reporting, and FP&A teammates across all geographies. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with Demand & Supply Management, Marketplace Operations, and our EPM business partners comprised of Technology, Financial Business Intelligence, Enterprise Data & Analytics, and SEC.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or related field; MBA preferred or combination of relevant education, experience, and training
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in FP&A, Financial Reporting, or Strategic Planning at large multinational corporations
- Experience in Revenue and Gross Margin management required
- Strong leadership ability and understanding/application of managerial concepts and techniques in areas such as project/change management, process improvement, idea creation, and cross-team effectiveness
- Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills; and demonstrated ability to effectively communicate status, issues/risks, and opportunities
- Strong enthusiasm and passion for the Nike brand!
