Three Wire delivers practice, preventative, and integrated care coordination to private and public sector employers. This care coordination, in turn, supports clinical tele-behavioral health, holistic wellness, navigational advocacy and family stability, and thus helps individuals thrive in their career and family life.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a meticulous & helpful financial counselor to provide coaching, care coordination, referral and appointing services to clients enrolled in the VA Caregiver Legal and Financial program. The financial counselor will be providing services via phone, text & video as well as a case management system for case notes, appointing, and other documentation.
To ensure success in this role, you must possess a strong understanding of financial terminology and have the ability to leverage resources effectively & resolve barriers/constraints through creative, out-of-box thinking. Ideal candidates are collaborative, detail-oriented and results-driven with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Job Functions:
Responsible for assessing needs of participating clients to inform the development of personal plans in various areas including financial information and benefits navigation aimed at improving their overall well-being.
Responsible for tracking, monitoring, and documenting all coaching sessions and related services within the case management system.
Provide web-assisted audio or video coaching to utilize motivational interviewing, solution focused techniques, and other related skills to assist clients in obtaining the desired information, resources, and assistance.
Work with clients to develop personal goal plans and identify actions steps for completing their plans.
Provide connections to appropriate resources and make necessary referrals for facilitating goal attainment.
Complete ongoing training as required by customer and MyAdvisor

Minimum Education/Training Requirements:
- Bachelors or similar degree from an accredited university
Required Licenses, Certification or Registration
- NFCPE
- AFC (Accredited Financial Counselor)
- NACCC
- Financial Counselor Certification
- Financial Health Counselor Certification.
