Job Summary:
Responsible for the preparation, coordination, and documentation of financial analysis projects and reports such as financial and expense performance, revenue projections, depreciation and working capital. Provides forward-looking analysis through forecasts, trend reporting and competitive performance evaluation.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Detail statistical reporting on staffing, operations, FTEs, revenue.
- Coordinate annual budget preparation and communication.
- Identifies trends and developments in the business environment.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and recommend appropriate changes or updates.
- Assists in the training of basic budgetary understanding and requirements for non-financial managers.
- Consolidate reports for rollup reporting within and between divisions.
- Partner with Contract division to ensure current and future billing and reimbursement rates are accurate.
- Present monthly or quarterly reports to Senior Management.
- Weekly/daily trends analysis.
- Preparation of Board level reporting packages.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge of healthcare and regulatory accounting (SEC, GAAP)
- Knowledge of data management and retrieval techniques.
- Understanding of healthcare billing cycles.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with business partners and management.
- Regular attendance; including conference calls and onsite meetings, as necessary.
- Pass a criminal background check.
- Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and confidentiality, including a working knowledge of 45 CFR "Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act" and 42 C.F.R. Part 2 "Confidentiality of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Patient Records"with respect to patient and potential patient identifying information and health information. This position has unrestricted access to identifying information and health information concerning patients, potential patients and participants.
- Exceptional MS Excel skills.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting. Master's degree or advanced certification (CPA, CFA) preferred.
- Minimum of three years' experience in accounting, finance, preferably in a healthcare environment.
- Demonstrated experience with financial applications and budgetary tools.
- Demonstrate excellent communication (written and verbal) skills required.
- Comfortable working self-directed and under time constraints.
Physical Requirements:
- Able to continuously sit from one-half hour to four hours per eight hours.
- Able to manipulate multiple screens and computer programs throughout the day.
- Must be able to work in a constant state of alertness as to perform the job in a safe manner.
- Able to work in a cooperative manner with coworkers, managers, perspective patients, patients, and families.
