Financial Analyst

Robert Half is seeking skilled candidates for a Financial Analyst position with a thriving Manufacturing company. This Financial Analyst position will require the candidate to execute financial modeling on various financial products as well as measure, analyze, and forecast performance in conjunction with operating plans. Your other duties will include advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and preparing reports for management. This role via Robert Half provides an exciting opportunity to perform in a business partner capacity in areas such as forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management with fellow colleagues. Responsibilities

- Track monthly and quarterly performance through comparison of actuals versus expectations and enable business partners to handle their resources

- Propel monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions necessary

- Ensure plans are properly executed by working with cross-functional partners in Accounting and Operations

- Work with senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization

- Provide valuable foresight and decision support through effective Business Intelligence (BI)

- Understand and be able to explain internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending

- Drive P& L forecasting and Area/Segment-level Bookings on a weekly, quarterly and annual basis

- Flexible individuals comfortable with large amounts of information, and adept at managing expectations

- Survey performance to date and assess potential opportunities and risks

- Collaborate with the Accounting team on the monthly and quarterly financial close process

- Compile and supervise forecasting reports

- BA/BS degree in finance or a related field

- Manufacturing Cost Accounting experience desired

- Proficiency in month end closings

- Ledger Reconciliations experience preferred

- Process Improvement experience preferred

- Adeptness in Microsoft Excel

- Experience with Manage Budgets

- Strong problem solving and analytical skills

- Outstanding communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations
