Job description

J&J is recruiting for a Finance Manager, Management Reporting Deployment to lead the development of a management reporting process that will standardize, simplify, and automate management reporting within the SigniFi tools and across the J&J finance organization. This position is based in New Brunswick, NJ and consideration will be granted to JNJ locations across North America, LATAM, and EMEA. The position will incorporate the J&J Flex Hybrid Work Model.

The Finance Manager, Management Reporting Deployment is a transformational role that will support the development of the management reporting process. The individual will be responsible for the simplification and standardization of management reporting processes, via enabling technology enhancements, which will drive efficiencies across planning and close cycles. This role will work closely with the broader WW finance teams to be at the forefront of identifying opportunities to drive greater effectiveness and efficiencies for the Global Finance team. A few examples of critical deliverables include simplified and standard global policy for management reporting, integrated and connected approach for planning and actuals, lead workshops to gather process and functional design requirements for management reporting and integration of processes into the planning and close calendars.

This role collaborates with a global network of finance professionals to design, deploy, and manage global FP&A processes. This individual helps drive business technology alignment, consistent process deployment and adoption, rigorous process documentation, KPI measurement, and performance management in areas including budgeting and forecasting, financial planning, working capital management, strategic insight, and decision support. This role will support a cross-functional team comprised of various finance associates across all levels and across all regions to develop the global standard requirements for management reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all release deployment activities as related to management reporting, which also includes legacy system/process disposition management
  • Provide process design as related to management reporting and hand off to technology teams to build, gather requirements and develop necessary documentations (Charters, MLP, DTP, Process Flows, SIPOCS, Taxonomy)
  • Engage in user access, data analysis, optimization and integrity as related to S1/A1 ledger, derivations (AF/AG/BU/BF) for management reporting,
  • Design, update and provide training, communications & micro-Learning as related to management reporting
  • Conduct master data validation for Capital, Headcount, and other areas (AF/AG/BU/BF)
  • Lead hypercare and simulation activities as related to management reporting, including office hours, Service Now/FTS coordination, tracker development, activity tracking, etc.
  • Provide UAT Support as necessary
  • Provide calendar support (Plan and Actual)
  • Provide defect resolution support for planning modules related to S1/A1 adjustments
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Finance or Accounting
  • Advanced degrees / certifications such as a CPA, CMA or MBA/Master's and Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years of finance, accounting or related business experience is required.
  • Experience designing, developing, implementing, and managing FP&A processes through a global organization is strongly preferred.
  • Foundational Project management skills along with Change management skills and ability to work in ambiguous situations, including the ability to drive others to adapt to a changing environment is required.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office are required.
  • Analytical, influencing skills and the ability to develop strong relationships with executive leadership team members is required.
  • Ability to partner with, influence and effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, including senior management is required.
  • Ability to work in ambiguous situations, proactively identifying and mitigating process risks within a cross-functional, global organization and effectively lead and govern decision-making bodies is required.
  • Innovative and continuous improvement mindset with the ability to translate a complex business operations landscape into a streamlined process design is preferred.
  • Experience working in a complex, multi-ERP / system environment is preferred.
  • Understanding of next-generation technologies (e.g., RPA, NLG) and how they can drive process improvement is preferred.
  • This position is based in New Brunswick, NJ and consideration will be granted to JNJ locations across North America, LATAM, and EMEA. The position will incorporate the J&J Flex Hybrid Work Model. The role may require up to 10% domestic and/or international travel.
The base pay range for this position is $97,000 - $166,750
The compensation and benefits information set forth in this posting applies to candidates hired in the United States. Candidates hired outside the United States will be eligible for compensation and benefits in accordance with their local market.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
