Mission: Stronger corporate structure, finance and reporting to scale monetization and grow to IPO
Story: LATOKEN needs a stronger and compliant corporate structure, financial risks mitigated, automated bonuses and reporting with tactical and strategic insights to scale monetization and grow to IPO.
Key PROBLEM's:
- Bank accounts should be operational to ensure crypto-fiat business operations without delays.
- Trading and custody risks must be real-time monitored and mitigated with risk policies and automated stop risk systems.
- Reporting should be automated and detailed to manage PL and growth across units and products, support IR, and bonus calculation.
How:
- Open bank accounts and comply with KYC/AML requirements.
- Develop and implement the roadmap for regulatory and bank compliance, and acquire crypto-fiat licenses.
- Develop a corporate structure to meet investors' and regulators' expectations.
- Establish and supervise the implementation of Risks policies for trading, custody, and operational risks. Ensure real-time notification of risks policies breaches with automated stop losses, root cause reports, and processes/people fix to mitigate further breaches.
- Automate balance sheet, PL, and management reporting companywide and by the units and products on the operational platform and dashboards.
- Automate bonus calculations based on OKRs on the platform.
- Audit company accounts, transactions, and reports.
- Update reporting for IR dataroom and respond to investors requests.
- Facilitate monthly, quarterly budgeting and OKRs planning across business units.
Main performance number: Managerial reports on time
Second performance number: Difference between balances and cashflow
Third performance number: Completeness of fiat and crypto transactions as reflected in the ERP system
Functions:
- Accounts and KYC/AML : Open bank accounts and comply with KYC/AML requirements. Reporting.
- Collect : Conduct payments, do bookkeeping using an accounting system.
- Payrolls : Keep payrolls registry up to date, calculate remuneration and bonuses, based on attendance and KPIs achieved. Ensure payroll documents signed.
- Balances Reconciliation : Ensure there are no deviations between Blockchain and Platform balances.
- Payments record : Keeping: record payments in 1C.
- Market Manipulation : Detect users undertaking forbidden trading practices or insider trading.
- Remuneration control : Together with Legal, HMs and HR, develop & implement a grading system and relevant basic remuneration rules.
- Security Risks : Perform manual security checks of users' transactions to prevent fraud and manipulations.
- Corp structuring : Assets and accounts are safeguarded, and meet business, investors and regulators requirements.
- Payments execution : Execute payments to contractors, service providers, employees. Update payments registry
- Risk control : Ensure Blockchain wallets balances are kept within risk limits.
- Management Reporting : Timely prepare financial report (BS, CF, PnL).
- Trading Desk Risks : Prevent uncontrolled losses and report on incidents.
- Reporting : Prepare reports of all internal frauds, unauthorized access or share of internal information.
- Control Tasks : Control and report team performance as measured by attendance and work time, task execution, 360 review results and KPIs achieved. Report to remuneration committee
- Custody and Chain Risks : Control custody integrity and exposures with automatic stop loss scenarios.
- Mediation : Support Account Managers, Risks and Legal teams in clients' cases resolution including fraud and errors.
- Fees control and refunds : Control rebates and fees to 3rd parties.
- Reporting : Prepare and automate regular managerial reports.
- Reporting : Preparing weekly financial reports on trading performance and risk.
- Fundraise : Maintain data room, manage investors funnel, make pitches, and sign SAFE.
- Policies : Ensure companywide financialpolices (expenses, budgeting etc.) are communicated to employees and properly executed
- Security Checks : Perform manual security checks of users' transactions to prevent fraud and manipulations.
- Bizdev Providers : Open accounts with payments infrastructure providers to develop fiat-crypto business.
- Stock options : Keeping register of stock options, calculate quarterly vested stock options and prepare letters
- Transactions mapping : Map transactions with updated libraries in 1C
- Internal Audit : Develop annual internal audit (inspection) plan based on risk based approach (agree with top management)
- Economic impact : Each quarter calculate economis impact of discovered fraud, ineficiencies, and implemented audit recommendations on the value of the company
- 1C database check-up : Control the completeness and correctness of filling 1C.
- Portfolio : Implement a market-making portfolio to reduce hedging costs, limit market, liquidity risk and volatility to zero.
- Strategies : Critically assess strategies proposed by traders and developers to protect company's capital.
- Best Practices : Analyze the latest regulatory frameworks and industry practices to implement the best approaches as risk policies.
- 1C automation : Control development of loading new data blocks.
Requirement skills and experience:
3+ years of experience in finance management in an international high pace company.
Experience in 2 of 3: risk management, bank accounts opening for crypto companies, involvement in investment rounds.
SQL or Python skills are a plus.
Fluent English.
