Position Overview:

As a Farmers Market Sales Associate, you will play a key role in representing Aunty Devi's Meat Pies (ADMP) and sharing our mouthwatering meat pies, sausage rolls and scotch eggs with local communities. Your enthusiasm, strong work ethic and exceptional customer service skills will contribute to the success of our brand at various Farmers Markets!

Responsibilities:

• Coming in 1-2 days prior to market day to prepare for your market (approximately 1 hour of work)
• Set up/breakdown and maintain an attractive and inviting booth while at the markets
• engaging with customers in a friendly and knowledgeable manner, highlighting the unique features of our products.
• Provide outstanding customer service, answer inquiries politlely and assist customers in making purchase decisions.
• Handle cash/credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Being responsible for your cash box. Do not leave the booth without taking it with you.
• Monitor and keep accurate inventory of items brought at the start of the day and of items sold.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve sales targets and market presence .

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in sales and customer service. Food-related roles is a plus, but not necessary.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• MUST BE: Energetic, Proactive and Self-Motivated!!
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Comfortable working in an outdoor environment and standing for extended periods.
• A passion for food and a genuine interest in engaging with our customers.
• Be 25 years of age and have a clean DMV driving record, as you will be driving company vehicles.
• Please bring a copy of your DMV driving record to your in-person interview.

JOB TYPE: Part-time

JOB PAY: $18.50 per hour

EXPECTED HOURS: 8-10 hours per week

SHIFT:

• Market 1: 5:30am start to 1:30pm finish EVERY Saturday.
• Market 2: 430am start to 2:30pm finish EVERY Saturday.

Must have your own reliable transportation and have the ability to commute to Escondido.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 10 per week

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Weekly day range:

• Every weekend
