This position includes the following functions to be performed in support of reservoir development and ongoing operations with focus on value optimization:
- Design and implement Brownfield installations related to regulatory & emission demands.
- Trial new technologies to determine viability at larger scale for full implementation.
- Analyze, troubleshoot and refurbish existing surface facilities and infrastructure.
- Design & implement new surface infrastructure elements including pipelines, compressor stations, pumping stations, and oil/water/gas separation, processing facilities, secondary waterflood and injection facilities for new and existing oil and gas.
- Project planning and management for safe execution of projects with predictable cost, schedule and performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 2 years work experience in oil and gas engineering or operations or related field.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, including safety considerations in engineering design, recommendations, and operability.
- Ability, desire and verbal and written communication skills to work within multidiscipline team environment.
- Desire and commitment to be part of a strong team dynamic.
- Ability to make technically and economically sound recommendations with incomplete information and in the time required.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
- Experience working within a change management program.
- Self-starter able to work with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in hydraulic analysis, equipment sizing/design, and system design.
- Proficiency in or ability to learn applicable technical and economic analysis software. Working knowledge of automation and/or electrical engineering.
- Working knowledge of typical onshore oil and gas construction practices.
- Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office Suite software. Ability to analyze large datasets to develop actionable plans to enhance operations.
- Working knowledge of the following in context of upstream oil and gas operations:
- OSHA Process Safety Management elements and typical safety program requirements
- Industry codes and standards (ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, ASME Section 8, Div. 1 Pressure Vessel Code, etc.)
- Typical rotating and stationary equipment
- Typical materials of construction
- Process control elements and systems
Additional Desired Qualifications:
- Proficiency in automation and/or electrical engineering.
- Working knowledge of Colorado & Wyoming regulatory environment including CDPHE, COGCC & WOGCC.
- Working knowledge of reliability engineering principles and life cycle cost analysis.
- Working knowledge of corrosion engineering principles.
- Proficiency using multiple programs from the following list
- ProMax, Bluebeam, PowerBi, PowerApps, SharePoint, SAP & Spotfire
- Formal training and work experience in project management.
- Working knowledge of procurement systems and contracting.
- Ability to represent the company's interests with vendors and contract technical staff.
*Salary grade is determined based on a candidates education, industry experience, work history, skill set, and any unique qualifications.
LTI: Exempt positions are eligible for participation in the company's discretionary Long-Term Incentive program contingent upon employee's relevant industry experience and demonstrated skills/performance.
