Experienced Marine Electrician

Opportunity Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Marine Electrician to join our team. As a Marine Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment on power and sailboats up to 60 feet. You will work on a variety of projects ensuring that electrical systems are safe and functioning properly.

Duties will Include:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment
- Inspect electrical systems and components to identify hazards or defects
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices
- Follow electrical code specifications to ensure safety and compliance
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects in a timely manner
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used

Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program or relevant work experience

- At least 10 years of experience in a marine/marina/boatyard environment REQUIRED
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Proficient in using power tools and precision measuring instruments
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills

Pay: From $27.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
