Hexagon's Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division (Hexagon) is seeking an Industry Consultant within our Americas group.
- Maintain a high degree of technical knowledge of the industry related to Hexagon's EAM process by monitoring new developments, new products, new research and new concepts in the industry.
- Must have a strong knowledge of Utility operations and be knowledgeable on utility applications, middleware, analytics, architectures and industry standards.
- Be in tune with the marketplace and abreast of technical trends and competitor plays
- Prioritize and coordinate sales opportunities with Industry Marketing and Key Account Management organization
- Keep field organization current with industry technology and best practices
- Identify, develop and provide basic input on industry unique needs for sales tools, technical materials, sales collateral, media, and other promotional materials and campaigns
- Develop sales strategies, concepts, and messaging supporting Hexagon's Sales Methodology leveraged by account executives guiding prospects through the buying process journey and influencing RFx if required
- Lead vision workshops identifying new market opportunities and other areas Hexagon EAM can support within the industry
- Provide SME support related to industry initiatives, marketing events, and speaking engagements

Qualifications- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including being a confident and articulate speaker
- As the role is global in nature being able to clearly communicate in the company's standard language (British English) is important, multiple languages will be viewed positively
- 10+ Years working within the asset intensive Discrete Manufacturing industry, preferably in a senior position that provides good across the board knowledge of the industry segment
- 5+ years working with competitor solutions in the EAM/APM/AIP space in a similar role or an equivalent time with consulting firms servicing the industry
- Engineering/Business degree or equivalent qualification/experience
- Ability to understand and communicate with all levels in an organization.
