Position Description – Executive Director

Job Title: Executive Director

Reports To: COO of Integrative Life Network

Supervisory Responsibilities: Work collaboratively with the following departments: Admissions, Finance, HR, Compliance, Clinical, Marketing and Outreach, and ILN

**This role will oversee operations at our Residential/PHP/IOP/Detox locations in Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Santa Fe, and Taos- Travel Required**

 SUMMARY 

The Executive Director is responsible for orchestrating and overseeing the administration and strategic plan of the facilities while upholding ILN core values. This includes facilitating a well-run, fiscally sound, stable, and safe environment for clients and staff. The Executive Director should remain current with the latest research and advancements in behavioral health and addiction treatment. This includes:
  

  • Leadership Management and Accountability
  • Profit and Loss
  • Responsible for strategy/vision of Shadow Mountain Recovery
  • Harmoniously integrates major functions​ of the organization
  • Identify and solve problems​
  • Internal communications

Compensation:

Starting at $130,000

Responsibilities:

DUTIES/EXPECTATIONS:

  • Support the overall strategy of ILN and responsible for the strategy and execution of Shadow Mountain Recovery.
  • Communicates and carries out the day-to-day tasks of the company under the COO.
  • Oversee overall operations of the facility including achieving and/or maintaining a profitable operation through budgeting and achieving income and expense goals that have been established by the COO and other executive leadership members.
  • Ensures fiscal and operational compliance.
  • Initiates and maintains positive working relationships within the company, clients, and the community.
  • Perform administrative and supervisory duties to ensure efficient and profitable operation.
  • Provides oversight for the maintenance of current contracts and the development of new proposals and services.
  • Assist in setting the tone, culture, and feeling of the facilities.
  • Support the Marketing and Admissions efforts and take personal responsibility for the facility’s occupancy goals.
  • Provide regular and accurate evaluative reporting to the COO that shows trends and adjusts accordingly to continue to provide high-quality treatment and growth. Data sets include patient census, admissions, and discharges, budgets, salaries, overtime etc.
  • Plan and organize adequate staffing to meet client needs.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activity and projects of direct reports that include but are not limited to planning, assigning, and directing work while addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Follow, implement, demonstrate, educate, and support the facility’s policies and procedures and company culture.
  • Develop and implement structure and processes to manage growth, ensuring compliance with all aspects of relevant facility regulations, including state regulations and the Joint Commission.
  • In absence of staff, perform those job responsibilities personally or through delegation to other staff members.
  • Work cooperatively and collaboratively with everyone including management, staff, clients, the public, etc.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS or higher in Business Management, Healthcare Administration, or an equivalent field
  • 5+ years of experience in an administrator role or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in the behavioral health or substance abuse field preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Personal passion or interest in mental health treatment or substance abuse issues is strongly preferred
  • Authorization to work in the US is required
