Role Summary Join our team as a Spa Esthetician for Solage, serving the needs of the business, our guests, and our colleagues by acting as Ambassador to the ENRICH culture of Spa Solage and to the service standards of Spa Solage. Core Responsibilities Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done! Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are: Provide all facial and waxing treatments as outlined in Solage Calistoga protocol manual. Available to work holidays, weekends and evenings as needed. Attend provider training and meetings as scheduled.
Maintain helpful, cooperative relations with co-workers. Assist in establishing and maintaining standard of excellence in professional image and service. Use products within guidelines set in the policy/procedure manual.
Proper use of all spa facilities and equipment as outlined in the policy/procedure manual. Accurately communicate information regarding guest history to Spa Coordinators for input into Book4Time. Follow-up with the Wellness Director of Spa and Manager of Spa Operations on all comments, concerns and suggestions made by staff members and guests.
Explain and promote all spa and resort facilities, services and activities. Keep the work area clean and neat at all times. Maintain sanitation as regulated by the State Board of California.
Assist other departments within the spa whenever necessary and available Responsible for adhering to Solage team member handbook and Solage Policy/Procedure manual. Perform other duties as directed, developed or assigned. Skills & Abilities Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate, both orally and in writing, using correct spelling and grammar, with guests, co-workers and management to their understanding, both in person and by telephone.
Ability to input and access data in a computer. Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality of all guest and resort information. Ability to promote positive relations with all guests and team members.
Ability to be well organized, maintain concentration, think clearly and follow through. Ability to learn, remember, provide and adhere to all facial treatments and waxing procedures as outlined in Solage Policy/Procedure manual. Ability to assist the guest in selecting services to best aid in attaining their goals while at the spa.
Ability to educate/advise clients on skincare products and regimens most suited to their skin type. Required Qualifications Esthetician license issued by California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology. Minimum 5 year experience as an esthetician.
Resort experience preferred. Hydrafacial Certified preferred. Luxury retail cosmetics experience preferred.
Ability to provide all Solage facial treatments and waxing services as outlined in Solage Policy/Procedure Manual. Physical Demands Frequent or occasional need to perform the following physical activities: reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, twisting, lifting, and climbing. Have frequent need to perform standing and walking activities related to inspecting property.
Constant need to perform the following physical activities: grasping, turning, finger dexterity. Occasionally need to stand for long periods of time. Lifting/carrying up to 10 lbs.
frequently and 25 lbs. occasionally. The starting pay rate for this position is $17.50 per hour plus commission, service charge, and gratuities.
