Job Description
FSG is looking for motivated candidates looking to build a successful career in the financial services industry. This is a salaried, internal sales position plus bonuses that will allow you to build a foundation of industry knowledge before potentially moving toward an external, client facing position. Because every client that we work with is in a different financial situation, we build customized presentations tailored specifically to their needs. These presentations range from a simple one-pager to a detailed 20-slide PowerPoint, and will be your primary job responsibility to design and create. Many of these presentations are complex and will require some background knowledge of investment and asset allocation strategies, and taxation of different types of investment accounts. During your time in this position, you will quickly begin to develop your expertise in these areas along with retirement and estate tax planning, life insurance and long-term care, and charitable giving strategies.
As your career develops, you will be trained to receive your life and health insurance certifications, Series 6 and 63 securities licenses, and to begin working directly with Financial Advisors and clients.
This is a unique entry-level opportunity in the financial services industry as we are a collaborative, team first firm where all members are rewarded for our successes. This position does not require any cold calling, sales quotas, and does not pressure you to market any product directly to family and friends.
