Nasdaq seeks an ESG / Corporate Controller Channel Lead for Nasdaq ESG Solutions, which includes SaaS solutions for ESG for data management and disclosure as well as ESG Advisory services. Must be ambitious, entrepreneurial and detail oriented with excellent interpersonal, communication, program management and business development skills. Experienced in SEC/financial reporting, internal and external audit, accounting practices, financial reporting technology solutions. Must have well established relationships within the corporate controller and/or legal compliance/regulatory/risk ecosystem. Should be familiar with the topics of corporate responsibility; environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues; and/or sustainability.

Position Description:

  • Develop, nurture, and own the Corporate Controller channel for Nasdaq's ESG SaaS businesses.
  • Collaborate with internal and external resources to extend Nasdaq's leadership and competitive positioning.
  • Identify, research and collaborate around new product and solution options and extensions within the Nasdaq business and within the broader constellation of Nasdaq ESG products and solutions.
  • Surface and assist in closing new ESG SaaS business development opportunities in coordination with Sales Engineers. Collaborate with other Nasdaq field employees to maximize client outcomes. Team player.
  • Recommend and work with team to implement events, white papers, marketing programs to successfully execute on business strategy.
  • Manage deep connections and long-term dialogue with key Corporate Controller, Internal Audit, Accounting constituents
  • Provide product development, marketing, and business development insights to help shape and execute ongoing strategic vision for the channel and for the business.
  • Stay up to date on disclosure requirements and the evolving landscape of potential requirements, leveraging how that feeds into various surveys/ratings/rankings.
  • Education Required: MBA, MSc or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience Required: At least 8 years
