Registration Representatives are accountable for greeting and directing patients and visitors. Excellent customer service skills are a must. Representatives must have the ability to properly collect and enter financial and demographic information into a computer; maintain patient confidentiality; provide clear and concise information to those who request it; be able to handle multiple tasks at one time; and be detail oriented. The position tends to be fast-paced and somewhat stressful. Representatives are responsible for identifying patients; inputting financial and demographic information; collecting monies due for co-pays. Individuals must be physically capable to transport patients and their luggage.
