Position Description:This position involves operating various equipment such as baling machines to produce bales for sale to salvage or recycle vendors and transporting materials using a sit-down forklift. Safety is a top priority, with adherence to all safety policies and wearing required personal protective equipment at all times.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Financial stewardship & fiscal responsibility.
- Safeguarding company property, including donated goods.
- Safeguarding equipment like forklifts and bale machines.
- Collaborating with customers to understand and deliver their needs & expectations.
- Operational excellence by following safety rules and ensuring proper equipment operation.
- Engaging in other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Forklift Certification Certificate or ability to pass certification class.
- Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen where applicable.
