Balance Staffing is seeking to hire an Equiptment Maintenance techinican for a leading integrated manufacturing solutions provider serving the fastest-growing segments of the global Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) market.
Euipment Maintenance Technician
LOCATION: San Jose, CA.
SHIFT: 1st & 2nd shift (2nd 10% shift differential)
NATURE OF DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are currently looking for a Line Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair circuit board CNC drill, Pluritec & Mania machines, this candidate will need to visually observe the operation of the machinery in order to diagnose malfunctions. The candidate will need to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment and keep all equipment up to date on manufacturing process requirements. Will require to perform monthly, quarterly and annual preventative maintenance, assist in repairing equipment, analyze and detect defective parts.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 5+ years of CNC Line Maintenance experience
- Basic AC/DC Technician certificate AA or 2-year degree Preferred
- Some heavy lifting
- Overtime, emergency calls and some weekends, as needed
- Mechanically inclined, able to work with a large variety of hand tools and power tools, operate a Forklift, Electric High & Low Voltage
- Experience in maintaining & troubleshooting Excellon printed circuit drilling/routing machines or other automated CNC machines is desirable but not required.
- Experience in production/manufacturing environment desirable.
- Strong electromechanical skills, ability to read machine prints and troubleshoot to board level.
- Strong communication skills, neat and accurate work.
- Self-starter, able to get along with others & work with minimal supervision.
- Must successfully complete all applicable pre-employment screenings. i.e., background check, drug screening, physical and/or employment verification as required, etc.
