Due to Company growth, we are actively seeking an experienced  EPC Contract Manager to join our Mega Projects Team remotley.


  • Procurement Management Plan” preparation support,
  • Confirm all procurement requirements for the Project with respect to labor, equipment, material, and services, are timely identified,
  • Identify Long Lead Items and confirm they are ordered in accordance with applicable requirements of the Contract Documents and the Construction Contracts,
  • Assure all procurement activities in a manner consistent with the Procurement Management Plan
  • Sourcing strategy for each Project (material and labor required) to perform the Work (EPC/DBB, etc.),
  • Evaluate alternatives and Sourcing Strategies throughout Project execution and develop recommendations,
  • Continuously monitor and actively manage procurement lead times and market cost trends relevant to the Project(s),
  • Report monthly or weekly as part of the Monthly Report the progress and status of all procurement related activities, any procurement- related issues, corrective actions, and other topics.
  • Identify and evaluate all actual and potential Bidders (including suppliers) and maintain current lists of actual and potential suppliers of labor, equipment, materials, and services and other items required by the Project(s),
  • Review all Scopes of Work and specifications prepared for the Project to confirm they are adequate for competitive bidding purposes and are consistent with the Sourcing Strategies,
  • Prepare RFP packages, bidding instructions, scopes of Work, specifications, schedule requirements, the client’s provided forms of contract, pricing instructions and other procurement-related documents required to solicit and obtain bids and proposals,
  • Revise draft RFP packages,
  • Structure engineering, procurement and construction EPC RFPs in a manner reasonably calculated to maximize the opportunities to obtain alternate pricing for sourcing of all equipment, materials, labor, and services by Bidders for the Work,
  • Assist the client’s in responding to requests for information and other questions submitted by prospective Bidders,
  • Recommend bid and proposal evaluation and source selection criteria,
  • Coordinate the collection and opening of bids and proposals. Conduct bid and proposal evaluations and verify that bids and proposals received to comply with the client’s requirements, RFP criteria, and the Procurement Management Plan, and identify exceptions that need to be resolved.
  • Detailed evaluations of bids and proposals and of the relative qualifications of bidders and proposers.
  • Detailed evaluations of Subcontractors proposed by Bidders and recommendations regarding approval or rejection of the same,
  • Develop recommendations for negotiation strategies and objectives,
  • Support the client’s conduct of negotiations,
  • Prepare bid tabulations and recommendations for the award of contracts.
  • Change Order review of Bids during RFP event,
  • Recommended spare parts lists, and provide sourcing recommendations for the procurement of such spare parts
  • Prepare and support contracts for review,
  • Support the clients for T&C’s deviations and exceptions of Bidders,
  • Support for coordinating all significant matters of contract formation, management, and administration relating to Contractors,
  • Maintain a complete file of procurement-related documentation (Document Control).
  • Perform and/or support contract administration and Change Order management of contracts,
  • Use best efforts to identify and obtain discounts, rebates, refunds, credits, exemptions, and items of similar nature from Contractors, available in the current market, or allowed by applicable Law,
  • Expedite and/or track Contractor deliveries of equipment and material and performance of labor and services as needed such that the Work,
  • Confirm all required operations and maintenance (“O&M”) manuals and training of NG personnel are provided by Contractors.

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA) in Business or Equivalent Experience
  • Eight (8) years of Procurement and/or Supply Chain Experience
  • Certificate in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)
  • Eight (8) years of experience in Contract Management
  • Must have experience working on Engineering, Procurement, Construction Projects
  • SAP Experience Preferred
  • Must have 5-8 years of experience in the Utility Industry
  • Must show proficiency in Microsoft Excel formulas, tables, and charts.
  • Must have the ability to communicate accurately and clearly both orally and in writing.
  • Must have a pleasant manner; able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Must have customer service oriented “can do” approach to work.
  • Must have superior organizational skills and accuracy.
  • Excellent problem-solving and people skills are also required.
