We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Office Assistant. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for performing general office functions such as answering phone calls, receiving orders, managing inventory, and even helping with marketing - social media, blogs, etc., plus other miscellaneous office functions.
Responsibilities:
- Answering phone calls and directing them to the appropriate department or staff member
- Receiving orders and ensuring accurate entry into our database
- Managing inventory by keeping track of stock levels and placing orders when necessary
- Assisting with marketing efforts by updating social media accounts, drafting blog posts, and designing marketing materials
- Assisting with general office functions such as filing, photocopying, and data entry
- Maintaining a clean and organized office environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
- Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
