Job Title: Enterprise Account Executive

Location: Chicago, IL or Remote - regular travel is required

The Position:

The Enterprise Account Executive (EAE) position will be responsible for prospecting, building relationships, and closing business within a designated group of current and prospective customers with enterprise potential. These accounts will either be large RIAs, OSJs, or Independent Broker-Dealers in a specified territory. Initially, the role will focus on upselling existing customers, mapping information on target accounts, building a pipeline, and converting sales opportunities.

A successful candidate will be a driven self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and experience sourcing and closing business - ideally within the Wealth Management industry. You will collaborate with the Enterprise Sales Development Representative (ESDR) for your territory to source and close both upsell and new business opportunities within your assigned accounts. Together with the VP of Enterprise Sales, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic plan to hit your quarterly and annual sales targets.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain a map of target accounts identifying Decision Makers, Influencers, Champions, tech stack, buying process, strategic initiatives, and other key factors that may help guide our outreach priorities and pursuit plans.
  • Build and maintain relationships with champions, power-users, centers of influence, and decision makers to grow our license count and revenue at specified target accounts.
  • Conduct client interviews to gain a comprehensive understanding of the use case and value add for a champion at a given firm to inform your sales strategy.
  • Develop and manage expansion and new business pipelines large enough to achieve your revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with the ESDR to establish best practices for outbound and inbound prospecting within your specified book of business, align on priority targets, and build enough pipeline to hit revenue goals.
  • Demonstrate the ability of our platform to solve problems and add value at multiple levels and for multiple roles (contributor, manager, leader) within an organization.
  • Work and close upsells and new business from initial discovery, through demonstration, trial, and contracting.
  • Maintain pipeline and forecast documentation in Hubspot (CRM).
  • Arm the customer success team with knowledge required to exceed onboarding and implementation expectations of clients.
  • Travel to network in person with potential upsell and new business opportunities as needed.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

  • Warm outreach to existing clients and decision makers at existing client accounts to establish stronger relationships and nurture champions.
  • Leverage cold outreach via cold-calling, email, and LinkedIn outreach to network with potential champions, centers of influence, power users, and decision makers at target prospect accounts.
  • Interview existing clients to understand our value proposition for their role and their firm, leverage those relationships and insights to generate expansion conversations with decision makers.
  • Establish new champions at target accounts through trojan trials or new sales, with a view to expanding the firm to an enterprise client over time.
  • Manage pipeline from outreach to sale by conducting product demonstrations, facilitating productive trials, involving key stakeholders, and contracting.
Requirements:

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience working within a distribution team at an asset manager
  • Detail oriented and well organized
  • Proven ability to develop and close large deals
  • Willingness to prospect new business and ability to communicate YCharts’ value proposition to multiple levels within an organization
  • Demonstrated success achieving personal sales targets
  • Persistence, a consultative approach, and a passion for white-glove service
  • Exceptional interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented and well organized
  • Familiarity with the financial advisor, broker-dealer, and RIA industry, as well as its dynamics and trends, various business models, affiliation models, and typical advisory platforms.
  • Broad market knowledge, understanding of portfolio construction concepts and investment strategies.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years prior sales or wholesaling experience at a financial services or asset management firm
  • Bachelor’s degree with a business related concentration preferred
