Job Description
The position of Electrical Systems Equipment Support Tech requires the incumbent to serve as an engineer technician for engineer equipment supporting garrison and training operations in support of the Marine Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC). Contractor shall use knowledge of electrical theory, concepts and fundamentals to diagnose and repair electric motors, electronic modules, motor control circuits, electric power generation equipment, Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and small engines to include gas and diesel variants utilized in electric power generation equipment and associated engineer support. Contractor shall read, decipher and assist with creation of base camp cantonment plans and interior wiring blueprints. Responsibilities include using AIS such as GCSS-MC, SSAVIE, TCPT and relevant publications to conduct maintenance, apply modifications and dispatch equipment in accordance with polices, directives and procedures. Contractor shall provide advice, guidance and assistance to commodity managers and assist in the training of associated personnel. Contractor shall read schematic diagrams, blueprints, and specifications.
Minimum Education/Experience Requirements: High School or GED equivalent and four (4) to six (6) years of relevant, progressive experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must possess an active Secret Security Clearance.

Work will be performed inside a large facility. Work assignments vary based on client requirements. Position could require some night and weekend work. Some travel may be required based on client requirements.
Physical Requirement
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Phone use and PC or laptop. Filing required. May require lifting and carrying boxes of supplies or equipment up to 50 lbs. Must have sufficient mobility, included but not limited to: bending, reaching, turning and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner.
Equipment and Machine
General Mechanic equipment, which includes: tools, pneumatic tools, hydraulic lifts, PC/laptop, and other work-related tools as required.
Attendance
Work assignments dependent on requirements by the client. It is important to be able to work at least 8 hours a day for 5 days per week (Monday through Friday). Must exhibit flexibility of work hours to adjust to surge situations based on critical mission requirements.
Other Essential Function
Candidate must exhibit a professional behavior that promotes teamwork, fosters cooperation, and enhances productivity in the workplace. Must be well organized with the ability to coordinate, prioritize and execute multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-pressure environment. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to work effectively with a variety of government, military and contractor personnel at all levels. Must be able to interface effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization. Grooming and dress usually business casual, but dependent on client's standards. Must not pose a safety hazard to employees working in the same general area.
