Job Summary:

The Industrial Power Systems Division has an exciting opportunity for an Order-To-Delivery (OTD) Technical Associate specializing in Quality. In this role, you will be responsible for the tear down, adjustment, rebuild, and resolution of engines not meeting customer expectations of all 400-series engines. Your responsibilities along with the rectification of engines will also include testing engines as needed.

What you will do:
  • Conduct customer specific inspections
  • Support engine documentation
  • Support inspection of components as required
  • Support other inspection areas as required
  • Responsible for recording defects found
  • Strive to detect defects prior to shipping and deliver quality engines
  • Perform other duties as required


What you will have:
  • Proficient written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good understanding of basic electrical and mechanical principles
  • Previous experience with diesel and gas engines
  • Strong computer skills including experience with Word, Excel, MESA, AQE, and/or HVC
  • Able to work both independently and in a team-based environment
  • Reliable attendance
  • Willing to work overtime when required


What would make you a top candidate:
  • Experience with 400-series engines
  • Formal diesel engine training or certification
  • Previous experience troubleshooting and repairing gas or diesel engines


Shift
  • Monday-Thursday; 8:30PM - 7:00AM. Overtime as required.


What you will get:
  • $1500 sign-on bonus ($750 after 60 days and $750 after 120 days) for external applications on
  • Payrate starting at $20 per hour
  • Additional pay for shift premium of 10% per hour for 3rd shift
  • 40-hour work weeks with potential for overtime
  • 80 hours of vacation with an additional 24 hours of paid personal time off (PTO)
