Job Description:
At EnerBank, the Collections Recovery Collector manages recovery accounts after charge off and works with Collections Managers to establish settlement and repayment terms.
EnerBank USA, a division of Regions Bank, engages in strategic partnerships with home-improvement manufacturers, distributors, franchisors, trade groups, and other organizations (with networks of home improvement contractors) to develop customized white-label loan programs to help them increase their sales as well as attract and retain top dealers.
Primary Responsibilities
- Processes recovery payments as authorized
- Assists in distributing and sorting of mail, processing and coding of all recovery checks, coding of legal and recovery invoices, and billing
- Establishes contact with account holders and sets up repayment terms on low balance charge off accounts
- Assists in review of the Follow Up report for updated status on recovery and legal accounts
- Documents and reviews recovery accounts with payment agreements and updates any changes of legal status in collection system notes
- Assists in daily requests with collection attorneys, gathering additional loan documentation and case management
- Aids in locating UTL accounts
- Monitors charge off accounts for settlements and or paid in full status and submits AUD requests to update credit status and have account then purged off system
This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
This position is incentive eligible.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two (2) years of collections recovery or related experience
Skills and Competencies
- Ability to communicate with all levels of management
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of collection and lending software
This position is full time during daytime business hours Monday through Friday and can only be work ONSITE at our Salt Lake City, Utah office. Post a successful training period and establishment of achieving specific performance metrics, a hybrid schedule may be accommodated.
The selected candidate for this role will receive a $2,000 sign on bonus in addition to a competitive base hourly pay and monthly incentive payout.
