The Position:
The End User Support Technician will be primarily responsible for installing, maintaining and upgrading pc hardware and software as well upgrading and maintaining any supporting software. It also requires the support of any servers, networking and phone equipment at the facility and Level I- III service desk support.
Responsibilities:
Provide support for office and manufacturing hardware
Install, maintain, and upgrade PC hardware, printers, peripherals and software
Provide customer service support via phone and remote access
Work with management on a daily basis to accomplish tasks with minimal supervision
Troubleshoot and help solve all end user problems while collaborating with other IT staff frequently
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree and/or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in IT. Advanced degree preferred.
- Years of Experience: 2
- Proficient in PC installation, upgrades and repair
- Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
- Good understanding of server and networking technology
