Job description

As the EMR Training Specialist you will serve as the organizations primary training lead for the companies Electronic Medical Record, WoundDocs. Responsible for development, organization, and implementation of EMR training to all users across the country including, providers, clinicians, and support staff. Conduct one-on-one or group training sessions with users as needed. Training may be in person or remote depending on need Provide proper, comprehensive training to ensure quality documentation. Lead for EMR support tickets and management Assist in building and configuring new center EMR builds.

Manage the customization and configuration of EMR support clinical workflow and clinical best practices Support new initiatives related to EMR and quality, such as Tissue Analytics implementation, hospital EMR integrations (EPIC) Performs other related duties as assigned. Additional Responsibilities: Conduct observations of users in their environment to identify areas for improvement and suggestions for workflow redesign. Development, execution, and support of education plan, tools, video recordings and resources focused on the EMR, quality initiatives and other clinical informatics initiatives.

This includes training and onboarding of new providers, regional and center leaders, and staff. Identify EMR development needs prn and actively participate in resolution. Work with clinical operations and revenue cycle management to identify areas of EMR training needs; collaborate in developing content and conduct training as needed.

Ongoing monitoring of various EHR utilization trends. Identify gaps/areas of opportunity and develop action plan to address areas of concern. Maintain confidentiality of all patient, department, and organization information, and follows HIPAA regulations Education and Technical Skills: Licensed Practical Nurse, Registered Nurse Bachelor's degree in preferred In-depth WoundDocs experience, highly preferred Exceptional computer skills, particularly in all Microsoft Office software.

Ability to present formally within area of expertise to a diverse audience Ability to effectively communicate with regulatory agencies Strong communication and presentation skills A polished and professional appearance to represent RXH is required, including a clear, articulate, tactful, professional, and friendly speaking manner. A clear and concise communication style, both orally and in writing.
