Employee Health Specialist Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $22.48 /hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 06:00pm)

• Have and maintain knowledge that ensures legally compliant/best practice procedures and processes
• Create, revise and recommend employee health procedures and guidelines
• Administration of Workers Compensation claims by assisting employees, processing claims, coordinating modified duty and return to work
• Administration and recordkeeping of COVID-19 related matters including: employee vaccination compliance, coordination of vaccination clinics, employee health screening, employee symptom follow-up and tracking, testing, exposure tracking, and processing of employee return to work
• Oversee and track vaccination and immunizations required for health care providers
• Develop and maintain Job Hazard Analysis for all positions
• Employee occupational health oversight and tracking of drug screens, physical examinations and functional evaluations
• Administration of the Respiratory Protection Program and employee respiratory fit testing
• Ergonomic evaluations and follow-up.

Employee Health Specialist Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent 2 years in a health care setting required
• Advanced computer proficiency - Microsoft Office
• Effectively communicate information via phone, writing, email, and in person
• Professionally and appropriately handle stressful events and situations

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
