Employee Health Specialist Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $22.48 /hour
- Full Time work available
- First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 06:00pm)
- Have and maintain knowledge that ensures legally compliant/best practice procedures and processes
- Create, revise and recommend employee health procedures and guidelines
- Administration of Workers Compensation claims by assisting employees, processing claims, coordinating modified duty and return to work
- Administration and recordkeeping of COVID-19 related matters including: employee vaccination compliance, coordination of vaccination clinics, employee health screening, employee symptom follow-up and tracking, testing, exposure tracking, and processing of employee return to work
- Oversee and track vaccination and immunizations required for health care providers
- Develop and maintain Job Hazard Analysis for all positions
- Employee occupational health oversight and tracking of drug screens, physical examinations and functional evaluations
- Administration of the Respiratory Protection Program and employee respiratory fit testing
- Ergonomic evaluations and follow-up.
Employee Health Specialist Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent 2 years in a health care setting required
- Advanced computer proficiency - Microsoft Office
- Effectively communicate information via phone, writing, email, and in person
- Professionally and appropriately handle stressful events and situations
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
