Overview

Responsible for servicing vehicles with the appropriate fuel when needed.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for servicing vehicles with appropriate fuel, checking fluid levels and safety equipment.
• Assists GSE Mechanics with maintenance of ground support equipment.
• Completes forms connected with work assignments according to established procedures.
• Completes all safety training as assigned by the Company.
• Compliance with all ELS safety programs, policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties/assignments that may be required by management from time to time.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

 

• Ability to work a non-traditional schedules including weekends and holidays.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge of basic automotive maintenance
• 1+ year experience in fueling vehicles
• Knowledge of general workplace safety requirements and procedures.

Computer Skills: Basic computer knowledge. Ability to log in, retrieve and answer emails and take training.

 

Other Requirements:

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must be able obtain and maintain an Airport Security badge
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and be insurable under the Company's insurance policy
• Must be able to comply with the ELS Drug and Alcohol policy.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Will work in a mechanics shop, in conditions that may contain dust, dirt, temperature changes and continual noise that is below OSHA's action level. Must have the ability to work outside for extended periods, in weather extremes. PPE is required.
