Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions (either in person or online) to students in math. Although our highest demand is for secondary math. We also need tutors for various subjects including but not limited to: elementary math, science, English, reading and special education.
- Develop personalized lesson plans based on the individual needs and learning styles of each student.
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
- Utilize effective teaching strategies and resources to enhance student understanding and engagement.
- Help students develop strong study skills and organizational techniques.
- Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student progress.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children and/or tutoring experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge in high School Math content areas (i.e trigonometry, algebra, geometry, and/or calculus)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students of all ages.
- Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate students' needs.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $44.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 20 per week
