Job Description:
- Assembles, solders, or performs processes associated with a variety of components and cables, primarily of an electrical nature but including some mechanical, working from work instructions, drawings, models, and/or schematics. May work with small parts and/or work under microscope. Duties are performed with direct supervision of the
Production Manager or Line Leaders.
- Works on multiple product lines
- Performs repair and modification work involving electrical and/or mechanical connections on multiple product lines.
- Inspects own work on electronics and mechanical assemblies to produce a quality product which conforms to workmanship standards and engineering requirements.
- Experienced in all process steps, sub-assemblies, and final assembly.
- Operates production equipment.
- Participates in department meetings to promote efficiency through improved work planning, layout, and procedures.
- Positively support company policies and procedures
- Expected to use communication skills and teamwork to build a stronger team.
- Performs other production duties as assigned.
- Training of new employees
- Provides leadership and communicates priorities.
- Coordinate in process inspections.
- Provides guidance and assistance with reworks when required.
- Assist in writing/updating work instructions.
- Assist in yield tracking.
Requirements
- College degree preferred
- Computer skills
- Problem Solving
- Adaptability, Team Player
- oriented
- Familiar with workmanship standards or IPC-A610
- Familiar with electrical/electronic assembly from components to final assembly
- Able to communicate clear instructions
- Assists manager in the flow of day operations.
- PC Board level soldering skills
- Must meet ITAR Requirements
