Job Description
Be part of advanced technology Engineering. This is for creative, analytical, and logical engineers that can contribute to the cutting-edge Electrical and Mechanical development of several projects. The ideal candidate should have strong complete design skills, client interfacing, and vendor relations background. You will have the opportunity to Lead your team of electrical technicians in hardware, electrical, and system integration.
Responsibilities
- Generate Schematics, supporting printed circuit board layouts, building testing first articles, and providing documentation for production release.
- Support full-cycle development
- Streamline processes, lead technicians, and train
- Embedded firmware, C-firmware, OrCAD
- PCB layout using, Altium, fusion360, and Solidworks
- Hardware design (PCB, wire harness, electronic systems)
- Troubleshooting, debugging, bench testing
- sub-system and main system integration
- Custom electronics, electrical/electronic/control systems, prototyping
- New client business development support
- Other job responsibilities per project requirements
- Minimum of 10+ years of progressive various design engineering experience
- Proven success in a multidisciplinary product design environment
- Knowledge of regulations/standards; UL Safety, IEC, EMI, ESD
- Circuit designs; Analog, Power, Motor drives, Sensor
- Microprocessor Peripherals: UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB
- PCB layout using Altium, fusion 360, Solidworks or similar
- Proven ability to build rapport and act as a voice of authority among engineering, business development, and project management teams
