The EHR System Administrator is responsible for implementing and maintaining the EHR system (CareLogic). This position is responsible for ensuring that the EHR system is properly configured to support documentation, billing and reporting requirements.
The EHR System Administrator builds and configures service documents, designs and updates configurable forms and provides technical support and training to end users. The EHR System Administrator also serves as a liaison between Wilder and the EHR vendor to support and communicate processes such as planned and unplanned system outages, upgrades, new features and system performance issues.
Wilder is a first-implementer Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC). As part of this innovative model of mental health care, you will collaborate closely with other service partners in ensuring coordinated, integrated care for clients and their families. Job Qualifications
AA degree in business administration, health care administration or related field required, BA degree in relevant area of study preferred. Minimum 2 years’ experience in healthcare administration or information technology experience preferred. Health Information Technology (HIT) certificate or Electronic Health Record Specialist Certification (CEHRS) also preferred. Knowledge of HIPAA privacy and security laws that govern medical records required. Must have a high level of computer literacy, strong business applications and data management skills, good analytical skills with close attention to detail, excellent organization and time management skills, and ability to clearly and effectively communicate complex technical information (verbally and in writing) to providers and support staff.
