JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for working with Hatchery Supervisor to assist with receiving eggs and loading incubators to complete daily work.
DAILY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Unload/load egg trucks as necessary.
2. Load incubators with egg racks daily.
3. Take and observe egg temperatures off trucks and in egg room.
4. Conduct daily inventory of eggs.
5. Conduct QA checks & Egg pack flocks checks every day.
6. Calibrate incubators daily or as necessary for production need.
7. Dump Cull barrels as needed.
8. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
9. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION:
1. Must be a team player with a leadership mentality.
2. Ability to comprehend and follow instructions.
3. Ability to maintain proper records and documentation.?
4. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequent changes to the needs of production.?
5. Must be able to pass required physical including demonstrating your ability to lift the required weight for each position.
6. Must be able to stand and/or walk for entire 8-hour shift.?
7. Must wear correct job specific PPE as designated by company policy.
8. Ability to be a good representative of the Company and always display the highest levels of ethical behavior and integrity.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
1. Previous hatchery experience is highly preferred, but not required.
This position requires that you cannot own or have any contact with animals with feathers, other than those owned by Lincoln Premium Poultry, during your employment with LPP.?
