Eeg Technician

Join our dynamic Neurology Clinic as an EEG Technician, where you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality electroencephalogram (EEG) services. As an integral part of our team, you will contribute to the diagnosis and treatment of neurological conditions, ensuring exceptional patient care.

Office Hours: Monday to Thursday form 7:30am to 6pm and closed on Fridays

Responsibilities:

- Conduct EEG procedures on patients following established protocols.

- Prepare and set up EEG equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.

- Collaborate with neurologists and other healthcare professionals to schedule and coordinate EEG tests.

- Monitor patients during EEG recordings, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the procedure.

- Analyze EEG data and prepare detailed reports for review by neurologists.

- Maintain accurate and organized patient records, documenting pertinent information related to EEG testing.

- Assist in educating patients and their families about EEG procedures and address any concerns.

Qualifications:

- Certification as an EEG Technologist (R.EEG T.) is required.

- Previous experience in a clinical setting, preferably in neurology or neurodiagnostics.

- Proficiency in operating EEG equipment and associated software.

- Strong knowledge of neurophysiology and the principles of EEG testing.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients.

- Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.

Hire as Independent Contractor

Pay: $50.00 per hour
