We are looking for an Education Specialist Mild to Severe in Downtown Los Angeles to offer in-person and virtually services at one of our partner schools for the 2023 school year. This position is part-time at 20 hours per week. Full time options available if they are interested in taking on case management/assessor roles. *Salary range is contingent upon relatable experience, credentialing/certification, education, and use of a second language in your role (50% of the time). $33.00 -$44.86 per hour

As an Education Specialist at TES, you will: - provide small group and one-on-one instruction to students requiring support in the areas of reading, writing, math, and other areas as needed. - administer assessments and collaborate with the IEP team - communicate on-going student progress to parents/guardians, general education teachers, school administration, district personnel, and other service professionals via progress reporting and Individual Education Plans. - be responsible for maintaining ongoing compliance in accordance with IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act). You will need the following minimum qualifications to be considered: - a valid CA Education Specialist credential (Mild/Moderate) - proof of Covid-19 vaccination - must clear a current background check through the FBI and DOJ - a current TB Test (within the last 6 months) Preferred qualifications include: - 2 years experience in Special Education - Experience in auditing and monitoring of compliance for the district, state, and federal regulations regarding Special Education
