Full-time Echo Technologist Opportunity!
Our Echo Technologist is responsible for performing all diagnostic echocardiography procedures: 2-D, M-Mode and Doppler in Transthoracic and Transesophageal Echocardiograms. Additionally, the echo tech could perform advanced procedures.
Must be registered as one of the following:
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
The Job Requirements are:
- Associate degree in Science or Allied Health Field (Nursing, Radiology, Respiratory Therapy, Cardiovascular Technologist, etc.) or a minimum of 2 years of experience as an Echo Sonographer and a high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Colleague must obtain an Oregon license within 90 days of hire and may not provide any services in Oregon without an active Oregon license. Colleague must obtain and maintain an active, unrestricted Oregon license prior to providing any services in Oregon.
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required.
Good to Have:
- Experience in M-mode, 2D Imaging, Color Doppler, and/or Contrast Echoes.
- Working knowledge of Ultrasound Equipment, digital archiving, pediatric ultrasounds.
- Pediatric ultrasound training and experience.
