Job Duties
Prepares patients for echocardiography testing Perform patient assessments
Operates echocardiography equipment to record ultrasound from the heart walls, valves and support structure
Records all test results to ensure diagnosis of structure and valve abnormalities and plural and pericardial effusions.
Conducts stress tests using accepted procedures and monitors and results.
Monitors equipment during procedures including equipment used, procedures performed, etc.
Perform other tasks as assigned
Education/Requirements
Echo Technologist Registration
Current BLS certification
Minimum of 2 year experience as an Echo Tech.
