This is a TPD (0.2 Status) day shift Cardiovascular Echo Tech (Echo Vascular Tech) position in the Echo department.
Responsible for completion of all diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures, both IP, OP. Performs at a technical level not requiring direct supervision. Procedures include neonates, pediatrics, adult, stress, trans esophageal echocardiography, and peripheral exams. Computer skills necessary for the management and archiving of test results. Responsible for the inputting of echo data received from outreach areas.
Minimum Required: Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). Experience with neonates, pediatrics, adults and stress tests. Effective verbal communication skills. BLS upon hire.
Preferred/Desired: Trans esophageal experience preferred. Vascular experience strongly preferred.
On Call / Weekend Requirements: Yes.
