Job description

The eCommerce Account Manager will be responsible to lead efforts to ensure Amazon, Bed Bath & Beyond. Overstock, Wayfair, Walmart, Word Press, etc. policies and guidelines are met, provide sales reports and platform insights and make recommendations on pricing and promotions and manage Amazon Advertising campaigns to maximize sales and ROI. Responsibilities A day in the life, what you'll be doing: Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to increase sales, profitability, and market share on Amazon and all 3rd party websites. Utilize analytics tools to assess performance, identify trends, and extract actionable insights to inform decision-making. Lead efforts to optimize product listings by improving product titles, descriptions, images, and keywords to boost search visibility and conversion rates. Conduct in-depth competitive research on Amazon and all 3rd party websites to identify opportunities and threats, and develop strategies to outperform competitors. Analyze pricing trends, competitor pricing, and market conditions to establish competitive pricing strategies and promotions. Plan, execute, and optimize all 3rd party Advertising campaigns (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Display Ads) to increase product visibility and ROI. Generate and present regular performance reports, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement. Ensure compliance and policies and guidelines, including product listings, pricing, and customer service standards. Stay updated on e-commerce industry trends, platform changes, and best practices to adapt and optimize strategies accordingly. Qualifications What it takes to Join: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, economics, or a related field. 2+ years of experience managing an Amazon e-commerce business a must. E-commerce merchandising or marketing experience a plus. Experience with Amazon Seller Central and Amazon Advertising and campaign management. Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

Job Functions

  • Drive revenue by being a team player to help manage the day-to-day operations of the marketplace listing team.
  • List products through Channel Advisors, Word Press, and directly to vendor websites.
  • MUST be proficient in Excel
  • Assist in managing the marketplace calendar, including coordination of marketing assets, and other pertinent information between internal departments and marketplace listing.
  • Strong understanding of social media marketing techniques.
  • Manage merchandising on 3rd party platforms.
  • Share weekly and monthly reporting, analyze feedback and circulate to appropriate departments
  • Work with marketing on the daily, weekly, and monthly marketing budget for on-platform advertising
  • Monitor platform changes and ensure product listings remain optimized and in-compliance
  • Manage internal and external customer service representatives to resolve customer service and fulfillment issues and ensure a positive post-purchase experience relating to all platforms.
  • Track KPIs for products, marketing performance, and customer service
  • Audit marketplaces with an emphasis on quality and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional business teams to identify and prioritize areas of opportunity to grow revenue and serve customers on all platforms.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or higher in a related field is strongly preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of eCommerce product management/sales experience, preferably in consumer retail
  • Thorough understanding of end-to-end eCommerce processes inclusive of website infrastructure, content management, and customer-facing functionality
  • Thorough understanding of best practices for marketplace listings, organic SEO, and customer service
  • Proven success managing eCommerce business initiatives from conception to implementation to delivery with quantifiable results
  • Highly organized, and able to work within tight deadlines
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and break down larger objectives into a detailed work plan
  • Ability to effectively apply critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills to resolve issues
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with submitted work/assignments
  • Highly proficient in eCommerce platforms including Wordpress, Amazon Seller Central (FBA, FBM, AMOD) Amazon Vendor Central, Wayfair, BedBathandBeyond and Channel Advisor.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
