Dynamics CRM System Administrator Summary:

The CRM Engineer is a member of RSM's technical services group and is responsible for the strategic operational support of Microsoft Dynamics CRM platform. The engineer will work closely with IT management and other functional groups to deploy, administer, and provide level three support for the firm's enterprise CRM systems. The CRM Engineer must have excellent written and oral communication skills and be able to work, collaborate and coordinate between technical and non-technical people within the firm.

Essential Duties

• Provides direct support of Microsoft CRM Dynamics solution and other related enterprise applications including application, data base, IIS server, Active Directory, Internet facing deployments, ADFS, application load balancing, and single sign-on. Supports internal development, functional technology and project teams on a recurring basis. Monitors and optimizes system performance based on Microsoft best practices. Implements upgrades, enhancements and fixes following established change management procedures. Achieve system automation and integration through the use of Web Services technologies and tools. Works with Microsoft Support and other 3rd party vendors in resolution of support issues on as-needed basis.
• Maintains technical standards, procedures and techniques for the resolution of CRM Enterprise system problems to ensure maximum application availability and performance. Collaborates with other IT technical Engineers and developers.
• Participates in scheduled and unscheduled weekend/after-hours system maintenance and support. Performs rotational on-call duty.

Minimum Qualifications

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS

• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, equivalent work history/experience or working towards achieving a degree

TECHNICAL/SOFT SKILLS

• Microsoft Windows Server required
• Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) and the basic operation of websites, application pools, IIS administration, ports, SSL certificates preferred
• Microsoft SQL Server - basic operation to include backup and recovered preferred
• Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services knowledge preferred
• Assistance PSA experience preferred
• SSIS administration experience preferred
• Strong performance tuning experience preferred
• Excellent written and oral presentation skills required

EXPERIENCE

• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, network and directory services required
• Experience as a MS Dynamics Administrator preferred
• Familiarity with 3rd Party Dynamics add-ons/connectors preferred
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform
